Healthy Lifestyle Support Group
Six Weekly Sessions:
Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00pm
January 5 - February 9
Cost: $50 for all 6 group meetings if paid by Jan.5 or $10 per individual group meeting (Advance registration necessary in both cases).
Tired of failed New Year's Resolutions? Try something different...to shed *pounds* of old and useless emotional baggage, feel well, and gain support from others doing the same. This group is not about what you weigh, it is about having the freedom to eat well and to stop being a slave to food issues. We will use Tapas Fleming's "Tapas Acupressure Technique " (TAT) to make peace with issues that keep us from making health-enhancing choices. It's easy, gentle, and most of all, it's a wonderful way to be with others sharing the same goals!
Contact Kathy Heuser at 612 275-9863 to register for this group.
Introduction to the Enneagram: Discovering Your True Self Through the Study of Nine Points of View
Check back for Winter 2010 Schedule!
The Enneagram is a powerful and dynamic personality system that describes nine distinct and fundamentally different patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Each of the nine paterns is based on an explicit perceptual filter. This filter determines the focus of your attention and how you direct your energy. Underneath each of the nine patterns is a basic proposition, or belief, about what you need in life for survival and satisfaction.
As you discover your Enneagram personality type, you will discover more about your true self. You will also understand more about the unconscious motivations from which you operate. Discovering your Enneagram personality type can help you achieve an understanding of how to bring positive change into your life.
Individuals, couples, families, church groups, therapists, healthcare professionals, teachers, small businesses, large corporations, and communities of all sizes worldwide are using the Enneagram to promote conscious communication and cooperative living.
